Google's Gary Illyes confirmed on Twitter that Google does not have any ranking part to it's algorithms when it comes to checking for seals of trust on websites it crawls.

This is a topic covered before asking whether website seals assist with search engine optimisation and particularly does BBB accreditation help with local SEO. Now we've a Googler confirming the answer is no, it doesn't help.
